About this app

Twelve simple tools, one app. All the little Loxley Labs tools you'd otherwise keep as separate downloads, bundled together so you can open one icon and find what you need.

Pick a tool from the grid and use it. That's the whole app. Nothing watches what you do, nothing nags you to upgrade, and eight of the twelve tools need no permissions at all.

NEW IN 1.1

Every tool in the box has been rebuilt to match its standalone app:

  • Calculator: basic, scientific, graphing, programmer and date pages, with memory and exact decimals
  • Unit Converter: type a value and see it in every unit at once, 12 categories, pins and recents
  • Password Generator: passphrases, PINs, strength in plain words, and vault search and backups
  • Sound Level Meter: dBA readings, a 60-second graph, a spectrum view, and a log of saved readings
  • Compass & Level: heading and bubble level as tabs, with the level readout under the ring
  • QR & Barcode Scanner: history, what each code is, an offline link check, and a Create page
  • Stopwatch & Timer: fastest and slowest lap tags, share your laps, a timer that rings when the app is closed
  • Quick Notes: a board of tinted tiles, checklists, pins, colours, search, trash, and backups
  • Decision Maker: a spinning wheel with weights and teams, saved lists, a dice tray, and a number range
  • Tip & Bill Splitter: split modes, and a receipt scanner that reads the total on the phone
  • Tally Counter: several counters, goals, and counting with the volume buttons
  • One Settings page for all of them, and a back button that returns to the previous screen

WHAT YOU GET

  • Flashlight: one button, instant light, with an auto-off timer
  • Unit Converter: length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, time, data and more
  • Password Generator: passphrases, passwords and PINs, plus an encrypted offline vault
  • Sound Level Meter: how loud the room is, live, with a graph and saved readings
  • Compass & Level: heading plus a bubble level for hanging things straight
  • QR & Barcode Scanner: scan with the camera or from a picture, keep a history, create your own codes
  • Stopwatch & Timer: laps on the stopwatch, an alarm when the countdown ends
  • Quick Notes: notes and checklists on a board, kept on your phone
  • Decision Maker: spin a wheel, roll dice, or pick from your own lists, with shake to decide
  • Calculator: the everyday kind, and the scientific kind when you need it
  • Tip & Bill Splitter: work out the tip and split the bill any number of ways
  • Tally Counter: a big plus button for counting whatever needs counting

A few tools ask for what they actually need: the camera for scanning codes and receipts, the microphone for the sound meter, notifications so a timer can ring. Nothing else. The app has no internet permission at all, so it cannot send your data anywhere even if it wanted to.

Receipt reading uses PaddleOCR models (Apache 2.0, from Baidu) and ONNX Runtime (MIT), both on the phone.

Prefer just one of these? Every tool is also its own standalone Loxley Labs app, if you'd rather install only the one you use.

THE LOXLEY PROMISE

  • No ads, ever
  • No tracking, no analytics, no accounts
  • No internet permission, so it cannot phone home
  • Works offline
  • Free, and yours to keep

Loxley Labs makes tools the old way: each one does its job well, then stops. This one's free, and it stays free. No subscriptions, no terms that change after you install it. If it earns a spot on your phone, you can buy me a coffee; a coffee is a thank-you, never a paywall.
