Loxley Map Mod
The Fabric mod · goes on your PC
Runs inside Minecraft and answers the app's questions about your world. It only reads; it never changes anything, and it never sends anything outside your own network.
Version 1.0.2 · 515 KB · needs Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1 or later in the 26 line (it will not load on 1.21 or earlier), with Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Drop the .jar into .minecraft/mods and start the game.
Do not use this on someone else's server. A map that shows ore through stone, or where other players are, is indistinguishable from cheating and can get you banned no matter what you meant by it. This is built for your own worlds and worlds you have opened to LAN.

About this app
Most Minecraft map apps ask for your seed and then redraw the world in their own code. That is why they drift from the real game, lag behind new versions, and are worst exactly where the terrain is most complicated.
This one does not reimplement anything. The mod asks Minecraft's own generator, inside your own game, which is why the structure coordinates it gives you agree with /locate instead of landing you a few hundred blocks off.
WHAT IT DOES
- Your position, live. Where you are and which way you are facing, read from the game rather than guessed.
- Your world at block level. The blocks you actually placed, drawn as themselves.
- A slice at your depth. Underground, the map cuts through at your level, so you see the tunnel you are standing in rather than the grass above it.
- Structures with exact coordinates. Worked out with the same routine the game uses for the locate command. Choose which kinds to show, then tap one for its position and distance.
- Past the edge of the loaded world. Zoom out and terrain keeps going, computed from your seed.
- Fog of war. Everywhere you have been, remembered between sessions.
- Waypoints. Mark where you are standing and name it.
- Other players. Off unless you turn it on.
YOU DECIDE WHAT IT REVEALS
Everything that shows you more than standing there would is off until you switch it on. Ore is hidden by default and drawn as the plain stone around it, with no hint that it is there. Fog of war is the default, so the map only fills in where you have actually been. A world you have not explored yet cannot be un-spoiled, so the app does not make that choice for you.

Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You need your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition. A Minecraft or Fabric update can break compatibility until the mod catches up.
